A man has been arrested after he allegedly knowingly

A Queensland man will face court after allegedly infecting several women he slept with with a serious illness on dating apps.

It is alleged that the 24-year-old from Campeon Beach had sex with several women between November 2022 and July 2023 after meeting them on social media apps.

“It will be alleged that he knowingly transmitted a serious disease to women on two occasions,” Queensland Police said in a statement.

Two counts of act with intent to cause serious bodily harm or disease to such person, four counts of misdemeanor domestic violence and two counts of distribution of intimate images, a domestic violence offense.
