Imran Khan appears before SC via video link
ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan appeared before the Supreme Court through video link in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) amendment case on Thursday.
A five-member larger bench of the Supreme Court comprising Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Justice Athar Manullah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa heard the case on intra-court appeals. The Supreme Court infuriated the federal and provincial governments against the NAB amendments.
The hearing of the case was not broadcast live today.
Geo News quoting prison sources said that earlier today, arrangements were completed in Adiala Jail for the appearance of the PTI founder on the order of the Supreme Court.
