Major update in search for missing mum

A huge group of volunteers have joined the search for missing mother Samantha Murphy in thick bush as more disturbing details begin to emerge about her sudden disappearance.

The volunteers, branded with high-visibility jackets and wearing long trousers, rucksacks and hats, gathered in the morning at Ballarat’s Eureka Stockade Memorial Park in preparation for the day’s search.

Police have focused their search in areas around Mt Clear, south of the regional Victorian town, on information gleaned from phone data.
