Man Dies Days After Sister Woke from 2-Year Coma and ID’d Him as Her Attacker
A West Virginia man who was arrested last week for allegedly trying to kill his sister, who had recently awoken from a two-year coma, has died.
Daniel J. Palmer III, 55, was charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding after a June 2020 attack in which he “attacked, hacked and killed” his sister, Wanda, in West Virginia. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release. Release.
Palmer was taken to a Charleston hospital on Wednesday and pronounced dead the next day, Jackson County Sheriff Ross Mellinger told PEOPLE.
