Naval Chief Meet on Ambassador of Portugal , Chief of the Naval Staff of CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi on Tuesday held a meeting with Ambassador of Portugal in Pakistan H.E Mr. Paulo Neves Pocinho.
According to the Naval Spokesman, the meeting took place at the headquarters of Pakistan Navy in Islamabad.
A PN spokesman said both dignitaries discussed issues of mutual interest, bilateral cooperation and maritime security in the region.
A day earlier, Greece’s ambassador to Pakistan S.E. Mr Andreas Papastavrou visited NHQ, Islamabad and summoned CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

On the same day, media briefing on the 7th Multinational Naval Exercise AMAN-2021 took place at the Pakistan Navy headquarters in Karachi, where COMPAK R / Adm Naveed Ashraf briefed media on two-year Exercise AMAN.
The Pakistan Navy Spokesman said Exercise AMAN contributes to regional peace and stability, resolves against terrorism, cooperates to maintain safe and sustainable maritime governance and improve interoperability between regional and extra-regional navies. About 45 countries participate in the 7th edition of Ex AMAN-21.

It should be noted that the Pakistan Navy has been hosting Multiannual Naval Exercise AMAN every two years since March 2007. Exercise AMAN brings together Ships, Aircraft, SOF / EOD Teams and Observers of the East and West Navies under one umbrella for cooperative peace and security. in the maritime domain.
