The NRL seems to have a new power couple emerging as NRLW sensation Jessica Sergis seems to have made their relationship Instagram official with newly-signed Manly player Tommy Talau.

Sergis shared photos on her Instagram Stories, one capturing Talau filming her while sunbathing, and another featuring the pair at a pottery wheel, with Sergis giving Talau a kiss on the cheek.

Comments poured in, further indicating that the sports stars are romantically involved. Sergis’ former Roosters teammate, Leianne Tufuga, commented, “Soft launch.” Sergis liked comments such as “cute little soft launch! My favs,” “Stop it, you two,” and a message from Jess’ sister Vivienne that read, “we love TT.”

The speculation even extended to Talau’s page, with a photo of him in Sea Eagles training gear from a month ago prompting comments like, “Tommy, is there something you need to tell us about Jess?”

When asked by The Daily Telegraph about the budding relationship, Sergis declined to comment, stating a preference for keeping her personal life private.

Sergis, a 26-year-old NRLW standout, has represented NSW and Australia and won the 2019 Dally M Player of the Year. Talau, 23, previously played 45 NRL matches for the Wests Tigers, scoring 20 tries, and made the move to Manly for the 2024 season, also participating in the Pacific Championships for Samoa.
