Payne Haas, Albert Kelly face bans for altercation caught on video

League great Wally Lewis has confirmed the suspension of two games for Broncos players Pane Haas and Albert Kelly following an altercation outside the team hotel.

The video of the body of Star Prop and Five Eighth at a Sydney hotel surfaced on Sunday night after the Round Two victory over the Bulldogs. It is understood that Haas and Kelly will be given a two-game suspension for the clash.

Kelly is already injured and will fulfill his obligation when he returns, but Haas has been named by the Brisbane to compete in the rosters on Friday.

Speaking on Nine Today, Lewis defended Haas’s behavior, calling the ban claims appropriate.
