Fans of Bridgerton were delighted with the highly anticipated release of the second half of the third season of the steamy period drama on Thursday.
Viewers are eagerly devouring the new episodes to discover the next developments in the romance between Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).
However, some fans are already expressing disappointment, criticizing a Netflix executive who disclosed that there will be no new Bridgerton content for the next two years
Showrunner Jess Brownell confessed to The Hollywood Reporter that fans will face a long wait before the next Bridgerton sibling’s tale unfolds.
She explained, “We’re striving to release the seasons more swiftly, but each one requires eight months of filming, followed by editing, and then dubbing into multiple languages.”
