Emma Raducanu claims the biggest scalp

Emma Raducano claimed the biggest scalp of her career by calling world No 5 Jessica Pegula ‘my most meaningful win’.

The 21-year-old saved a match point in the second set – the first time he had done so and won – and served from 0-40 down to win 4-6, 7-6, 7-5.

‘I’m very proud of myself for staying through it. I was pretty down the whole match,” Radukano said after her first win against a top 10 player, who advanced to the quarterfinals against Russian world No. 14 Daria Kasatkina on Thursday.
