Iconic Cindy Morgan dead

Having featured prominently in the science fiction film Tron from the 1980s, the actor Morgan passed away due to natural causes, as officially acknowledged by a spokesperson from the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office to Fox News this Saturday.

TMZ reports that, on December 30, 2023, Morgan’s roommate reportedly reached out to the police after returning from a vacation and finding no response upon knocking at the door of their residence in Lake Worth beach.

Having received no answer, the roommate expressed detecting a strong odor inside and promptly informed the police. Upon investigation, law enforcement discovered Morgan deceased in her room, with no indications of foul play, according to TMZ.

In addition to playing the charming niece of the head of a country club in Caddy Shack, Morgan also played the dual roles of Dr. Laura Benz and the computer program Yuri in Tron opposite Jeff Bridges in 1982.

Before she hit the big screen, the Chicago native graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in communications, according to her IMDB biography.

Morgan delivered news at a local TV station in Rockford before moving to Los Angeles and spinning records at a radio station where he worked on TV commercials for Irish Spring.

Morgan has also appeared in several TV shows over the years, including The Love Boat, Bring ‘Em Back Alive, The Fall Guy, The Larry Sanders Show, Under Suspicion and more.
