Later, the court recorded the statement of PTI founder Imran Khan on question 342, where Imran Khan stated that Safer had visited his office, but the responsibility for its security was with the military secretary. An inquiry had been ordered regarding Safer, and no clue was found about Safer.

After recording Imran Khan’s statement and a brief hearing, the court announced the verdict, sentencing Imran Khan and Shah Mahmood Qureshi to 10 years of imprisonment each in the Safer Case.
