Man arrested after woman pushed onto train tracks in Melbourne
A man has been arrested after allegedly pushing a woman onto train tracks at a busy Melbourne station.
The incident happened just before 4pm on Wednesday at busy Richmond station near the Melbourne CBD.
Members of the public and Train Network staff helped to remove it from the tracks.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries.
A 54-year-old Werribee man was arrested in Southbank on Thursday morning.
He is currently assisting police with enquiries.
