Sam Kerr has weighed in on Princess Kate’s shock cancer diagnosis, re-sharing a post from a famous musician slamming those who “sensationalised a woman’s desire for privacy”.

The Matildas skipper reposted US singer Halsey’s Instagram story on Saturday night, criticizing the public’s reaction to Catherine’s absence.

“Hopefully the people and the media who sensationalized a woman’s desire for privacy after a well-known health incident are feeling regret and remorse,” Halsey wrote.

“And by the way, it would stand without the terrible news of his trip.
