Anne Hathaway’s upcoming rom-com The Idea of You has divided social media users after its trailer debut.
Based on Robinne Lee’s 2017 romance novel of the same name, the film follows single mother Solène Marchand (Hathaway, 41) who goes to Coachella with her daughter only to have a chance encounter with the extraordinaire Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine, 29) of the fictional boy band August Moon.
“As they begin a whirlwind romance, it’s not long before Hayes’ superstar status poses inevitable challenges to their relationship,” the synopsis reads. “And Solène soon discovers that his life in the spotlight may be more than he bargained for.”
