An Adelaide woman who became paralyzed from the chest down recounts the terrifying moment she realized she was unable to walk again while on a Singapore Airlines flight.

Carrie Jordan and her husband Keith Davies were flying back from a “lovely holiday” in the UK last month when their plane encountered severe turbulence over Myanmar, forcing an emergency landing in Bangkok.

Out of the 211 passengers and 18 crew members on the Boeing 777-300ER, 80 people sustained injuries, with 20 requiring intensive care. Additionally, a 73-year-old man lost his life.
