Dyson Daniels continues to impress as the 21-year-old Aussie point guard helped secure a thrilling 109-108 victory for the Atlanta Hawks over the Sacramento Kings with a key block. The 6’7″ guard from Bendigo, once a little-known trade piece, has emerged as a breakout star after being traded from the New Orleans Pelicans in the off-season.

After being swapped for Dejounte Murray, Daniels has far exceeded expectations, now averaging 14.9 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 3.4 steals per game this season. His 3.7 steals per game lead the NBA, setting him apart as one of the league’s top defensive players.
