Lt. Gen. Asim Malik appointed DGISI
Rawalpindi: Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik has been appointed as the new chief of ISI.
According to Geonews, Lieutenant General Asim Malik is currently serving as the Adjutant General at GHQ and he will assume his new responsibility on September 30.
Lt Gen Asim Malik has previously commanded the Infantry Division in Balochistan and the Infantry Brigade in Waziristan, apart from this he has also been posted as Chief Instructor NDU and Instructor Command and Staff College Quetta.
Lieutenant General Asim Malik has also served in the Directorate of Military Operations before this.
Lt Gen Asim is also a graduate of Fort Leavenworth and the Royal College of Defense Studies, having received the Sword of Honor in his course.
