Bilawal says contest only between ‘arrow’ and ‘tiger’ after ‘bat’ removal
As the February 8 election day draws near and political parties gear up for the polls, the landscape of electioneering is rapidly evolving across Pakistan.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman has already embarked on a series of rallies spanning various regions of the country. Meanwhile, the prominent Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) has declared the initiation of its election campaign starting from Okara on Monday (today).
Addressing a public gathering in Dera Murad Jamali, the headquarters of Naseerabad district in Balochistan, PPP chairman Bilawal emphasized the significance of the electoral symbol, noting that the bat was no longer in play. He highlighted the upcoming electoral battle between the arrow and the tiger, urging the people to make a choice between embracing new thinking and leadership or adhering to the old politics and politicians.
In his criticism of PMLN supremo Nawaz Sharif and other key leaders of the party, Bilawal questioned the elusive nature of the tiger that seemed to be hiding in its house. He asserted his commitment to contesting the elections with the aim of transforming the destiny of the people and serving them.
