The internal story of the meeting between the leadership of the People’s Party and the Muslim League-N has come to light.

Sources say that in this meeting held in Lahore, a proposal was made by the Muslim League-N to include the People’s Party in the government. The League’s leadership also briefed the People’s Party on the relations with MQM and independent members.

According to sources, in this meeting between the leaders of the Noon League and the People’s Party, the League delegation took a stance that the Prime Minister would be from the Muslim League-N, while Asif Ali Zardari stated that the Central Executive Committee of the People’s Party had nominated Bilawal Bhutto as the candidate for Prime Minister.

According to sources, in the meeting, the leaders discussed the possibilities of the Noon League having the position of Prime Minister for half the term and the People’s Party for the other half.

Sources revealed that in the meeting, leaders from both parties also assessed the capabilities of the Prime Minister from the Noon League and the People’s Party for a certain period.

Sources further stated that in this meeting between the leadership of the People’s Party and the Noon League, consensus was reached on forming coalition governments in Punjab and Balochistan.
